Last Friday we came home to our cat, Minerva, lying unresponsive, unable to walk or stand without toppling forward headfirst. \u00a0We rushed her to the emergency vet, thinking she may have a broken leg.<\/p>\n

After 4 hours of waiting an tests, the vet came out and let us know that they couldn’t find any broken bones, but the blood work did not look good, and the outcome looked grim.<\/p>\n

We spent the rest of the weekend fearing the worst. \u00a0Monday came and things were not looking much better. \u00a0We called the vet to arrange to have her put down.<\/p>\n

However, Monday night she began eating once again, and by Tuesday she was back walking around, albeit with a limp. \u00a0Wednesday she was eating more and more, and slowly improving. \u00a0Thursday morning, she actually came out of the room where we keep her bed and food, and jumped into my bed.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, we cancelled the vet’s euthanasia appointment. and Minerva appears to be on the mend.<\/p>\n
